The annual Yr1 show is finally nailed to the wall and looking good ! Over 60 cracking images from a wide variety of disciplines makes this a very strong show. 6v SLA battery pack for Nikon SB-28

Fed up of rechargeable batteries ? AA’s costing a fortune ? Well, you could make your own battery pack which will give you over 500 pops with one charge, and recycle almost instantly ! Basically, its a 6v Sealed Lead Acid Battery housed in a Maplin’s project box. Its fitted with a fuse, an on/off switch and a locking connector and has lugs on the side for a strap. Down the left-hand side, there is a connector for recharging the SLA. The connector is a 2-pin screw-lock jobbie and connects to the flash via a sync cable attached to 2 dummy batteries with a notch cut into the battery door to allow for the cable. If you fancy a go at it, check out these guys first, they are brilliant, and a mine of information. Full credit to them for taking time to break it down into easy steps…..
